Great time for soup on a cold day. We ordered the beef stew with tendon, the broth was rich in flavor. The beef and tendon were really tender. The Singapore stir fry noodles with curry, fish cake and vermicelli was another delicious dish. The host was friendly and accommodating. Definitely will come back again.

I've been a frequent visitor to the Teo Chew noodle place in Oakland, so I was really curious to try Mi. I had the original Teo Chew noodle soup, which comes with prawns, fish meatballs, pork meatballs, chicken, pork slices, minced pork, and pork kidney with vermicelli. We also tried their Pork Kidney noodle soup. The soup base is clear and rich in flavor, and the texture of the noodles is spot on. The pork kidney was not overcooked and had a great texture. One notable difference compared to the place in Oakland Chinatown is that Mi adds fried minced garlic on top of the noodle soup, which I really liked as it brought an extra layer of flavor to the dish. However, I understand why some people think it's a bit pricey. They are cash-only, and two bowls of noodle soup came to around $40 before tipping.

This is actually one of my favorite noddle restaurants and I'm surprised that I haven't reviewed this place. It is nothing fancy but food and service is excellent. This is very causal dining and is cash only. The place is always clean and can get quite busy during lunch hours. Their Chiu Chow noodles soups and stirred fried kidneys with scallions are their signature dishes.

I've been eating here for more than half of my life and it is still as delicious with each passing year. Workers are great and very friendly, helping with any questions about menu items. Even stopping by to have little conversations to get to know customers. Inside has quite a homey feel and many regulars so you know it's good. Bring cash!

Great, friendly service. I love the choices of noodles they provide! It's a little on the expensive side, and might be cash only(?), but it's super delicious! I love their beef stew noodles... Definitely my go to. Their wonton soup noodle is also very good :)

I've been two maybe 4/5 chao zhou restaurants and aside from Vien Huong (same family that owns this restaurant), this place has the beeeest chao zhou he fen! I think it's cash only here, but it's so worth it. Their satay beef ho fun and original chao zhou he fen with soup is our all time favorites along with their marinated duck and fish cakes! If I lived closer I'd eat here at least once a week. The owners are friendly and they're quick to serve you! It's a very casual spot, it's not super big so definitely want to go earlier to prevent waiting too long.

Came here around 2:30 on a Saturday and it was pretty empty, probably came after the lunch crowd. We each ordered the same noodle soup and it came out about 5 minutes later. Soup was nice and hot, got it was hofun noodles and added all my sauces/condiments. It was definitely tasty and we like to come here whenever we make our way out to 99 Ranch. Friendly, fast service. Cash only.
